Violin Tuition

As a student I studied with prestigious teachers such as Alexander Vinnitski(student of David Oistrakh) and Pavel Vernikov, and from their lessons I learned how to take every student as an individual with individual strengths and qualities.

Following my studies I went on to teach for 4 years, pupils from the ages of 4-35 years old. I also have experience in teaching chamber music and small ensembles. Many of my students have continued on to study violin in universities and conservatories.

As well as teaching, I have also maintained a busy performance career, playing with several professional orchestras and ensembles, including the RTÈ Concert orhestra Dublin and Lyric Opera Company Orchestra, Dublin. I have performed with artists such as Sinead O'Connor, Marti Pellow, Sigur Ros,Jon Lord,Kiri Te Kanawa and Marvin Hamlisch. I have performed several times as a soloist of an orchestra including my performance of the Beethoven violin concerto with the DIT symphony orchetra in 2009 and Mendelssohn violin concerto in 2011.

Teaching is very inspiring for me because I can see the progress of the pupils every week. So if you are looking to learn violin, please contact me.
